I am a Network Security & Messaging Specialist. I work for an outsourced IT services provider in London. ihotdesk are a widely respected business within the SME market, with many clients in the media, retail and finance sectors.

In my spare time I help maintain the Apache HTTPD Server, I am an active member of the docs-project helping to provide updates, revisions and new documentation. We recently published a wiki site which contains useful information that is not suitable for the project documentation. Offering advice on 3rd party implementation, tips, with common errors listed and how to resolve them. The wiki effectively became a replacement and considerable expansion of our FAQ pages.

I was recently asked to join the HTTPD PMC, which is a great honour for me as I am not a code developer. The PMC is the committee that helps guide the HTTPD project within the ASF

In recent months I have become a lot more active within the freenode network. I recently became a staff member for the network, helping other users with issues.

With whatever time I have left after working for the ASF and freenode, I enjoy photography and driving. I am still learning how to capture good images, and training my eye to see a good image in what may appear to be lifeless and ordinary.

During the dryer months I enjoy clay pigeon shooting, I shoot with a Beretta 682E. I tend to shoot sporting layouts, but it has been for me to try my hand at DTL and Skeet.
